L&A Ridge Runners has the Best Club Members Ever!
Newcomers are always welcome.
The Lennox and Addington Ridge Runners is a snowmobile club established in 1969 and located in the area north of Kingston and Napanee Ontario Canada. One of our main concerns is the sustainability of snowmobiling. Trail Permit dollars have to be supplemented by fund raising. It is the dedication of many volunteers that enables our club to continue to provide the safest and most enjoyable trails possible.
We strongly believe in the philosophy that the trails are there for the the snowmobiler who wants to experience a unique relationship with nature; one that respects the environment and provides a family recreational experience. It is a relationship that puts safety and the enjoyment of everyone foremost.
We understand that we have the privilege of riding on privately owned land that has been generously provided by over 100 landowners. Therefore, snowmobilers using our club's trails ride on the marked trails only and respect the landowner's property at all times.
We welcome you to our website, and hope that you will enjoy your time here. Please be sure to bookmark our website so that you may keep informed of local snowmobile events, trail conditions and news.
Please refer to the document executive2223.pdf for a complete list of our 2022/2023 executive and contact information.
The Lennox & Addington Ridge Runners Snowmobile Club is pleased to present this Alcohol Management Policy for the management of alcohol on club-maintained property and at club-sponsored events.
Alcohol Management Policy
It has been a busy year and we can't thank our volunteers enough for all of their hard work this year. We are powered by permits but driven by VOLUNTEERS! We are seeking the "next generation" of volunteers to help us keep our club and trails going! We welcome all ages. Volunteering can be a fulfilling family experience. One of our Volunteer families had three generations out to help.
If you only have a few hours to contribute you can help with things like setting up for fundraisers, special events like our Poker Run or Vintage Day, or helping in our clubhouse canteen. You might want to help with social media, or with our spring Volunteer dinner or Christmas Landowner dinners. There is always trail brushing and signs to be installed. The list goes on and you don't have to put a lot of hours in to make a difference.
We encourage you to attend a meeting or an event and see how you can get involved. There is no mandatory time commitment. If you can only give a few hours or a day here and there we understand and appreciate any help that a volunteer is willing to give.
